While the Bay Area has always been her home, she is grateful for the experiences and education she received in Iowa.<\/p>\n<p>She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in speech and hearing sciences\/audiology and her Doctor of Audiology at University of Iowa. In Paige\u2019s own words, \u201cAudiology chose me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She learned about the field of audiology during her undergraduate studies and fell in love with the workings of the auditory system. She always felt a pull toward the healthcare field and audiology seemed like the perfect fit.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Haberman has clinical experience at a variety of hearing care settings, including the University of Iowa Hospital and Vestibular Clinic, a cochlear implant clinic, a hearing aid center, a pediatric otolaryngology department, an aural habilitation program, a speech and hearing center and an audiology clinic. She has a working knowledge of American Sign Language and holds a certificate in American Sign Language\/Deaf Studies from the University of Iowa.<\/p>\n<p>In her spare time, Paige is a competitive powerlifter, which is something she has done for the past five years. She also plays the bass and ukulele. She stays active by hiking on the weekends and has a passion for national parks; she has a goal to see all 61 parks before she reaches age 61.
